The 134th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) will be held in Guangzhou from October 15th to November 4th. Vice Minister of Commerce Guo Tingting introduced at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office on the 28th that this Canton Fair has a larger exhibition area, more exhibitors, and better quality. A series of new measures will allow exhibitors and merchants to have a better exhibition experience.

1. The exhibition area is larger, an increase of 50,000 square meters compared with the previous session, and the total area of the third phase reached 1.55 million square meters.

2. There are more exhibitors and better quality. Over 4,900 companies participated in this Canton Fair for the first time.

3. It will be more convenient for buyers to attend the meeting. Extensive investment promotion has been carried out through 224 Chinese embassy and consulate business institutions abroad, 67 foreign consulates general in Guangzhou, and 189 Canton Fair global partners.

4. Service guarantee is more optimized. A total of 237 certificate application points were set up in exhibition halls, hotels and airports, an increase of 140 compared with the previous session.

5. Online docking is more accurate. 101 functions of the online platform have been improved to facilitate exhibitors to inquire about purchasing intentions and manage business opportunities and leads.

6. There are more supporting activities. Two professional forums on green trade and trade digitalization, five industry forums on electronic home appliances and medical equipment, and more than 10 "Trade Bridge" trade promotion activities will be held.
