See you at the 130th Canton Fair as usual

As one of the largest trade fairs in the world, the 130^th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), will be held from Oct 15 - 19 in an online-offline merged format. The event will resume an in-person exhibition in Guangzhou (the capital of Guangdong province) for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic.

Some analysts said that despite pandemic brought lots of challenges and risks, business opportunities are still increasing. The online-offline mode can provide a platform to attract more overseas buyers from online to help foreign trade companies get orders and encourage domestic buyers and export-oriented companies to further explore the home market.

The Canton Fair, with many exhibitions moving online from 2020, introduced an online-offline mode to further enhance intellectual property protection. With experts supporting infringement judging offline, the complaint can be received online.

Even the international freight prices and port congestion are soaring, China’s foreign trade grows steadily. According to the statistics, China’s foreign trade soared 23.7% year-on-year to 24.78 trillion yuan($3.84 trillion) in the first 8 months of this year.
